 Auroara has been key in supporting our Metis folks in BC. Through the creation of safe spaces, the use of creative expression, and integrating aspects of two-eyed seeing,  Auroara creates beautiful safe spaces for folks to explore their inner workings, creative expression, and identity formation, all through a culturally grounded Metis lens. She was able to support many of our 100+ Metis participants through mental health and wellness. We will continue working with Auroara to support our Metis community members. Beautiful song, spirituality, and graciousness can begin to describe the beauty that is working with Auroara. Maarsii & Hiy Hiy for all the great work for our community members.

 Auroara Leigh led many Métis individuals through a "Freeing Your Voice through Self Expression" workshop at our 2nd Métis Mental Health & Wellness Gathering. Attendees varied from ages 18-seniors/Elders, and came from all over "BC". Attendees left feeling inspired, challenged, opened-up, and supported holistically.
