Why do people smudge?
Smudging has been part of healing and spiritual practices around the world for thousands of years. What changes is the type of medicine that it is due to where the location is geographically, and what is grown. Some people may smudge for different reasons, and a common reason is to cleanse themselves of negativity and to have clear energy and/or to pray for specific healing help.
Sacred MEdicine
The values of medicine picking have been taught to me by many elders and so, when I walk in the forest, I always hear their words with me. I hold the teachings very close to my heart and these kits are a way to gift what is sacred. These kits do not sell the medicine that is picked, and they are priced low to that effect. Here is a photo that depicts the price breakdown that is not including the feather, cedar and sage, All good intentions go into these kits!
Ethical Abalone
In North America, abalone is considered endangered. The abalone that is in the kits are from New Zealand and highly regulated to ensure proper ethical distribution. Please consider where you source your items from when you buy.
Minimum kit orders
Due to the high demand of the medicine kits, I have decided to have minimum orders of 10 purchased at a time. With the many services that Simply Sacred Solutions offers, we do not have time to fulfill individual kit orders anymore.
The shop is designed to put in a purchase order for increments of 10.
For example, if you want 50 kits, purchase 5 of the ten pack of kits.
Who buys the kits?
Groups that often purchase the kits are organizations that want to have honorariums to give to elders, or knowledge keepers, or guest speakers and facilitators. Also, those who want to add them to their own boxes or kits that they sell or give out. The kits also go to those who help to serve clients and they want to give gifts. They also go to elders who want to give to their community. There are a wide range of people who purchase them, and it is the intent of why they want them that keeps me offering them in my shop!
